Obviously you don't understand math. Get back to me when you can grasp the issue.

And how many words/articles does it take to skew those numbers? How many were actually right-wing Op-Eds bemoaning how often race is mentioned which would presumably contribute to the numbers?

Right wing op-eds in the NYT's? Seriously this is your argument?

That doesn't explain anything without context.

Sure. I guess I'd say that also if I was losing the argument.

I bet my odds of winning the lottery increase by 500% or more if I buy a lottery ticket vs. not buying one, maybe I should go buy one! I am very smart!

This is why the media is so able to manipulate people. Perfect example. They want lemmings to lap up everything they spit out and this poster epitomizes it.

As always context is useful, nice little jump in the 90s around the LA Riots, and public opinion seems pretty obviously moved by notable events

Assuming that no one has any integrity, right? The only thing that ever drives anyone is profit, right?
BTW, 'the media' is not limited to television. Just FYI

Sure, here is some more context since you don't grasp the concept.

Let me guess. I'm being manipulated, but you're not?

And I doubt those newsrooms think much in terms of selling papers. They think about what they think is interesting or important. And, sure, those may translate into sales.

I think that lots of people in lots of professions are simply trying to do their jobs well.

If the context is that white liberals are more conscious about racism now vs. the 90s that is probably true, and few would disagree. If you want to make the case that this was consciously & deliberately engineered by media, you've got a lot more to prove.

I said we all are, I'm just not in denial. I am trying to not digest news from places that are known to right or left wing. Harder and harder to do on a daily basis unfortunately. You have never met the editor of a newspaper then if you think all they want to cover is what is "interesting or important". That quote of "If it bleeds it leads" comes to mind.

And you’ve spent a lot of time with newspaper editors?
