    Keeping Up with Portal Transfers:

Lucy Stanhope from Utah to Nebraska
Sirena Linton from Arizona to Arkansas

We'll get to see how Linton does with the piggies.

Updating a post on the previous page, the only rumor of transfer to UF is Sage Thompson of Utah. I haven't seen anything more on this since she entered the transfer portal last weekend.

Danielle Ferris's early graduation has her ranked as the #2 recruit for 2023. It has moved our 2023 Freshmen Class up from #5 to #3, but our 2024 Freshmen Class dropped from #1 to #2. Florida is one of only two schools that have a Top 5 Recruiting Class for both 2023 and 2024. One thing is for certain, Jenny and the Boys know how to recruit!
    Go Gators!

Will she come, or won't she? Shilese Jones pulling the trigger to come after Paris 24 can make the 2024 class great. In so many physical ways, Shilese reminds me of Trinity Thomas. She just keeps getting better and better with time. Mentally, she likely will never match Trinity's team chemistry powers.

Jade Carey has decided to stay at Oregon State and still pursue Paris 24:

Jade to stay at Oregon while still trying for 2024! : r/Gymnastics (reddit.com)

The "Oregon" headline is wrong, but she is staying at Oregon State.

As you may recall, Jade is close friends and has trained with Riley McCusker.

This is a good trend for staying in school. Maybe Leanne Wong will come to the same conclusion or Kayla DiCello will reconsider. It's a long time to the June Olympic tryouts.

This is what people predicted. The Sage Thompson-to-Florida rumor is still a popular consensus

Not really. I don't think she would be pushed out, but maybe a change of scenery for her 6th year. I hate to see her go, but we have a lot of fresh blood coming.

Sorry but this one bothers me on a few levels. Really hope there’s more to the story.

With Trinity gone, Kayla sitting out the year and a good chance Leanne does the same, and our best incoming freshman deferring a year, she was probably our best returning athlete. And she could do all around, so maybe 20 percent of our scoring left with her. And to do it after a year where she was sidelined physically (and we very likely sat her late in the year to protect the redshirt) into the year we needed her most of her 6 years, and to go to a rival?
None of that feels right, which is why I hope there is more to it. She got her masters this month, maybe LSU offers her next degree where we don’t?
Regardless, college sports just ain’t what it once was.

Hope Savannah's transfer works out for her and LSU.

I think some of you have possibly confused Savannah with Megan Skaggs. It was Skaggs who was UF's secret all-around weapon leading off each event in 2022.

Schoenherr is a bars specialist who is okay on the vault. In the 2022 national championship final, she did good on bars, but only pulled a 9.80 on vault, think she had a nervous moment, but she was inconsistent on the vault quite a few times in 2022. Given that she will not have performed for 2 years come the 2024 season, uneven bars are likely the best LSU is going to get out of this 6th year grad student.
