They’re not taking American jobs we need them desperately. My reasonable proposal? greet them warmly at the border. Do a brief background check weed out gang affiliated.. Set a quota 75% or whatever the right # is get a work visa the others have to wait in Mexico for the next month. Work with charities and NGO’s to help relocate them. Require them to cross the border at least once every 9 months (many are seasonal and already do). Most importantly try to help fix the calamitous conditions in their home country so that many remain.
