It is amazing how people overthink some things. Throwing a ball isn't that complicated, although obviously, some people are better at it than others. He can't "make his arm do what his mind sees"? What does that even mean? Did he ever practice throwing? Does he have some sort of palsy? Give me a break. I hope AR is a huge success because that is good for UF. But I don't see it, because his "mind" doesn't "see". Getting trucked by Kentucky and Vandy, while quarterbacking UF, doesn't really suggest future NFL success. The only notable thing AR did while at UF was to find a way to lose to our weakest opponents.
That’s probably why fsu stormed the field after beating us. It’s rediculous because we weren’t even good but they don’t think we are an easy game. They suck too.
I’m sure they’re still stinging from the beatings we would give them annually, I can see why they’d celebrate as if they just won a natty after beating a mediocre UF team
“Weak opponents” to entitled UF fans who think it’s their birthright to beat Vandy and Kentucky 49-0 every season, maybe. I bet if you asked Coach Napier and the players, they didn’t consider UK or Vandy to be weak opponents last season.
We had enough Offense to win a majority of our games, despite the fact we had one of the least talented WR's group in the SEC. I think with a functioning D, we would have won 8-9 games. Our problem was we couldn't make a stop consistently when we needed it, hence CBN going for it often on 4th down. AR had his shortcomings, however he was good enough to generate points. Interesting that as a team, I think we only punted 36 times for the season, which is right there with Georgia for the least punts in the league.
It had been years since Vandy won an SEC game. They are weak and there’s no argument against that. We were terrible.
I hope he does. And as stated in another post, I hope he looks back on his time at UF with fond memories. No naming your high school in the TV intros.
