What I really don’t get is the obsession with you and your ideological brethren to take joy in people you disagree feeling anger, sadness, etc. Honestly I don’t think that is a big priority for those on the left, but it is a high priority for a majority on the right. Climate change is different. It’s more abstract and unpredictable, and less linked to what any of us does and even what our country does at this point. I support moving to more climate friendly technologies, but there is a legitimate counter argument as to how far we should go how fast in this country. Guns and abortion, those are just flat out quality of life issues.
