These transgender teachers are very, very angry. “How dare you not let us ritually initiate your sons and daughters into our family-friendly extreme body modification cult! Escape the Hate!”
Details, details, there are a group of people here that live to "re-imagine" the actual facts in stuff like new laws being proposed.
It doesn’t have to say it because it’s implied. The Democrats have finally taken a look at republican tactics and rebranded bills to make them less appealing. The bill is actually called “Parental Rights in Education” which is also a false branding of the bill because it’s basically taking away rights to academic freedoms while not giving parents any more rights than they already had. In truth the bill should have been called the “Straight White People’s Emotions Protection Act” because that’s what it actually is. It protects racists and homophobes from feeling guilty about being a racist or homophobe.
Parental Rights in Education: Requires district school boards to adopt procedures that comport with certain provisions of law for notifying student's parent of specified information; requires such procedures to reinforce fundamental right of parents to make decisions regarding upbringing & control of their children; prohibits school district from adopting procedures or student support forms that prohibit school district personnel from notifying parent about specified information or that encourage student to withhold from parent such information; prohibits school district personnel from discouraging or prohibiting parental notification & involvement in critical decisions affecting student's mental, emotional, or physical well-being; prohibits classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity in certain grade levels; requires school districts to notify parents of healthcare services; authorizes parent to bring action against school district to obtain declaratory judgment; provides for additional award of injunctive relief, damages, & reasonable attorney fees & court costs to certain parents.
I didnt say that either Rick. But animosity rarely breeds solutions. And yes, I know I am guilty at times too.
I always feel dumb when reading your posts. Whiskey is a foreign language I need to learn to speak. Craft beer is more my language, but i always like to read these conversations.
Just a guess but you're either a troll or willfully ignorant. The vast majority of transgender teachers and there are very few to begin try to blend in, they do not advertise their gender identity and they're professional status is much more important than their gender identity although I guess you can always try to prove your point by citing the guy in Canada who wore the enormous prosthetic breasts and probably isn't even transgender in the first place. The person in the photo below is much more typical of transgender teachers. She taught at the high school level for well over 20 years and my guess is that few if any of her students even knew that she was transgender, the same for her colleagues. Photo of same person at age 28 before she started teaching.
My recommendation - dabble with a good bourbon now and then, ideally with someone who knows a little about whiskey. I started learning about whisky in 2016 at the Glengoyne distillery outside of Glasgow. I like highland Scotch, but not the peaty stuff (Islay region). That evolved to an interest in American whiskeys and rye. But if craft beer is your thing, keep it that way. We are living in a golden age for good beer and I'm admittedly missing out on most of it, as I prefer to drink brown liquor.
Yes, so let the Liberals keep their hate threads while we capitulate to these liberal haters' narrative? That's not an amicable solution either.
If you aren’t comfortable around these people, fine, but calling them pedophiles is moronic and hateful. (and incorrect).
Parents have always had those rights for as long as I can remember. The only things new was the prohibition of any discussions about sexual orientation, gender identity, and discussions related to social injustice.
Because they likely don't know how. A few teachers are really dedicated and good, but most seem to be made up of people who want as much time off as possible.
Ok. Just going off what I've seen myself and what family members who teach tell me. Thanks for the informative refutation.
So, big brain, you think this means that a teacher in fla can lecture on gay, gays & the gay lifestyle?? I assume as long as we get bigger & bigger gov, you're happy. nickname 1 of 2 noun nick·name ˈnik-ˌnām Synonyms of nickname 1 : a usually descriptive name given instead of or in addition to the one belonging to a person, place, or thing
