FSU without LSU in the schedule would be ranked about 85 easiest schedule. Wouldnt it be nice to have a schedule with only 2 challenging games. Hopefully the Cajuns dont fumble it away 4 times on punts and stupid plays this year and pound FSU into oblivion (and I hate LSU).
whydaya think Liver Spots went ACC? They had 2 tough games, Miami and UF. ACC was a high school league back then.
And the "chatter" all over the place is that we get Oklahoma and UGA as 2 of our 3 permanent every year rivals in football. Those two games don't seem bad until you see everyone else's scheduled permanent rival teams. Yes, the SEC is still busy screwing us.
The Gators will more than challenge FSU so make that at least 3 teams on there schedule that will be up to the task
I get what your saying as far as records go but I only really enjoy competitive games. The more the better.
I wish everbody would stop picking Georgia as their hardest opponents. I mean there are other opponents just as hard as Georgia. For me, anyone that had beaten Florida in the last two years (or more) would be considered just as hard, too. UF's hardest games: - Kentucky (0-2) - LSU* (0-2) - Georgia (0-2) <-- There ya go! - UCF (0-1) - Oregon St (0-1) Note: LSU currently has a 4-game winning streak against the Gators going back from 2019-2022. The Franks led Florida team in 2018 was the one that had last beaten Joe Burrow's LSU Tigers in Gainesville. To me, the Bayou Bengals' football team is the hardest game on the schedule for Florida! In 2020, Kyle Trask's Florida Gators had beaten most of the SEC (including the Georgia Bulldogs who were led at QB by two-time champion Stetson Bennett). Only LSU, Alabama & Texas A&M had defeated Florida in 2020. Next Tier (Don't take any of these guys for granted!): - Tennessee (1-1) - South Carolina (1-1) - Missouri (1-1) - Vanderbilt (1-1) - Florida St (1-1) UF's Easiest Opponents: - South Florida (2-0) <-- Yippee! A.Richardson had some big plays in those games! - Florida Atlantic (1-0) <-- Take that Final4 team! - Samford (1-0) <-- Emory Jones sets all-time passing record in a game! - Utah (1-0) <- May move up to the Next Tier category! - Eastern Washington (1-0) - Texas A&M (1-0) <-- Aggies are not so tough! Replace some of the 'easiest' opponents(above) with the following: - McNeese - Charlotte - Arkansas ================================================== I can't make up my mind about which one of Mcneese or Charlotte is the easiest. We will just have to flip the coin to determine that one! ================================================== If Florida can beat any of Kentucky, LSU, Georgia, etc. than they will move the needle up in the "accomplishments"-category! =================================================
