Late to the game but I’ll say I completely disagreed with bringing Purnell in. Pull Waldrep but go to d other arm. Fic and Nesbitt????

6.23 era for a reason. Looks like sane guy to me. Get behind in the count and then has to groove one. Hard to understand. Had one good outing against a bad FSU team and has double the era of others and gets 2 major opportunities in one week.
Interesting that other guys that have done well in midweek games don’t get opportunities on the weekend. Talking about Tejeda and Nesbitt.

I just don’t get it!
Coaches fall in love w certain guys and others can’t sniff the field. Purnell has to have a 7 + era now but still ahead of guys that have been consistently better in Nesbitt and Fic. Both ERa’s show they’ve been better.
