Thought this was going to be an NIL thread, then come to see that someone’s arguing that the number 4 pick with a $33mm signing bonus made a bad choice.
There are people arguing he should have come back. He gave us three years. Not his fault Mullen started EJ over him
Most of them saying he should come back, is only for his development as a quarterback, which is clearly in need. He is very very rough and only showing extreme potential. Nobody is arguing against taking $33 million. The only arguments I see is that if he had another year or two, he would be more NFL ready and his second contract might be much more likely.
Glad to see him and others move on so the house cleaning can end. Best of luck in their future endeavors.
it’s one or the other, unless you are at Bama, then you may get $33mm to come back. He’s maxed out how much he can develop at UF..needed to move on to get better.
