Dude, bud light sales are down 26% so it’s either you don’t understand that is really bad or you are just being ignorant. You tell me which one you are.

My quote says "investors are not worried" and I linked a stock chart. Would you like to dispute what I actually typed or would you like to argue against your own misunderstanding and seemingly remedial comprehension skills?

Are the sales down for AB or only Bud Lite? I ask because I know AB owns other beer labels and it's not clear to me whether the boycott efforts are against Bud Lite only or include all of AB. I also imagine some boycotters may not be aware that AB owns labels such as Busch, Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra, Presidente, Landshark, etc.

Not sure but the financial release I linked said that the sales affected by the controversy was less than 1% of their total sales... I assume that is BudLite inside the US as a percent of all brands in the world. So even if it was down 30% that would be .3% of sales impact. Probably why the stock market didnt really move.

Ok, so looks like I have to dumb it down for you. WHEN this firestorm started on April 1, the closing stock price the previous day was 66.73. Now the stock is 64.83. In ANY metric you want to discuss the stock is down. And using the garbage "investors aren't worried" routine is a joke. Investors make dumb decisions left and right. So just let me know if you just can't grasp the concept and I'll see if I can dumb it down some more for you.

Bud Light is their leading selling beer. Zero chance it's less than 1% of their sales. Don't make up crap to try to make a point. It makes you look even worse.

Their stock is up 22% over the last 6 months and 12% over the last year and off of that little spike you picked by 3%. Yea. They seem super worried.

I pray for your family that you don’t analyze data for a living or make a living off clever insults. You’re failing at both.

That decrease is in Bud Light sales only which is reportedly one of AB’s more significant products in the US. Also, considering the age of the beer and volume I suspect it may be one of the higher margin products for AB. Declines in this product would have a more significant impact on top and bottom line results than one of the other traditional AB products. That impact will be even larger if AB decides to engage in additional, unplanned marketing activities to support the Bud Light brand and hopefully return that product’s revenues to pre-boycott levels.

Apparently Bud Lights revenues have been in decline for a while. It’s interesting that a marketing campaign to reverse that trend by attracting new, younger customers served to have such a significant negative impact. I think it’s going to be difficult for AB to attract younger beer drinkers to the brand since they were the early adopters of independent craft beers and largely remain customers of those products.

Bud Light has been around over 40 years. InBev acquired AB in 2008.

HQ in Belgium. InBev bought AB, forming ABInBev. Same stock ticker I believe.

AB is owned by a company based in Belgium. Bud Light was “created” in the US by a US-based company long before InBev acquired AB.

Piraat is a Belgian beer ….. but I don’t think Bud Light would be classified as a “Belgian beer” by many people.

As a point of information these are the AB Inbev brands. Bud Light is one of many.

I think it’s safe to say this bud light thing has Fox News a little triggered. Hilarious watching this celebration of cancel culture after railing on it for a few years. Classic GOP.

Well if they wanted to make a point it worked. Bud light sales cratered and the company tried to distance itself from the ad.

Yeah it’s working. The deplorables who drink that cat piss schwill are bigly offended and bud light has been cancelled. Cancel culture strikes again - this time with a relentless assist from Fox News. That doesn’t strike you as a little hypocritical of Fox after all the bitching and moaning they did about cancel culture? Can’t make this shit up.
