Don’t know if he will earn a starting job but…two true sophomores as starters and 3 true freshmen as back ups prior to Moten joining the safety room. And Weston as a first year defender now playing safety. Adds experienced depth if nothing else.

 

He’ll play plenty. We need some experience back there. I wasn’t particularly impressed with Miguel after seeing him get trucked by the Tulane transfer.

 

I think the Tulane transfer will make some plays this year. Tulane was really good offensively last year and he looks to have a chip on his shoulder

 

Any relation to Andrew Moten on the basketball team at the same time.

 

Two years ago his tackling was meh. Last year it was very much improved and pretty impressive actually. Plus, no one scores TDs on the guy.

Very solid pickup.

 

I just read where he led Michigan in missed tackles.

Great! Maybe that’s why he came here. So he won’t be noticed.

 

His tackling was greatly improved the following season.

 

went from 51.8 to 76.7 tackling grade according PFF huge improvement

 

They were here at around the same time, but were from different areas of the State...so probably not unless they were cousins or something.
