The story being told is he wanted a different drug and they wouldn’t give it to him. Even though that’s not what most people think of with an “armed robbery”, technically it would have been had he stopped at just brandishing the gun and demanding pills. Of course since he actually went on a crime rampage and shot people that “armed robbery” is the least of his concerns.

I see what you’re saying but I still wouldn’t classify it as a “robbery gone wrong”. I don’t think he had any intention of stealing medicine. He just went postal when he didn’t get the treatment he wanted.
