Yes I think the porn industry is full of sick folks. Children should not have access to adult content. What adults do in their bedrooms is no concern of mine.
Everyone agrees with that, but why does the government need to do the job of parenting in this case (and inhibit the freedom of adults here too)? Pretty sure a determined minor can figure out how to use a VPN too. So how is this even particularly effective?
It’s a shame that parents don’t do their jobs to prevent access to an industry wrought with human trafficking and drugs but let’s face it they don’t.
That's a pretty broad statement. But then, you apparently think the government can do a better job than parents.
The ubiquity of online pornography seems to be potential societal problem without a real solution, as far as I can see. And I hate any proposed solution justified in the name of protecting the children.
As a parent it is pretty hard to track your kids online movements every second. When you grew up I assume it was mostly magazines that kids got a hold of. Like I said earlier I get the intent. Not sure what the right answer is but parenting today is a bitch of a job.
Easy porn access is a bigger risk to kids than stupid drag shows. I support harder hoops to jump through to make sure kids aren’t simply clicking “yes I am 18, I swear” buttons. Of course I understand adults wishes to stay somewhat anonymous on websites by not giving up personal info. Tough one.
Ok, but as we see here, instead of doing that, PH simply blocked access to the whole state, because they dont want to change it for everyone and they arent going to waste the effort trying to do it for one area, there isnt any money in it. Ultimately if you think your kid is too young to stumble across something on the internet, why are you giving them a device to use unsupervised? Schools and libraries have filters, so thats not the problem. You do understand that this is about making porn harder to view for everyone right? The kids thing is just a ruse!
Didn’t know that but it makes sense given how much content there is featuring Mormon girls being exploited by church elders. Maybe those films are documentaries.
One that disconnects when your wife walks in the room? LOL. At least Dems know to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. Let's try to master that and then we'll move on to "aren't" and "isn't." That one, I sense, is going to take much, much longer.
Has anyone made a documentary on public school molestations ? At last check, kids were 100 X as likely to be teachered as priested.
