Let’s say a clinical psychologist started openly mocking patients with schizophrenia, or even singling out and harassing them. Or saying stuff that was blatantly antithetical to good medical practice?

What would happen? Wouldn’t you agree such a “doctor” might not be acting as a professional or may even misusing their license? That such a doctor might have other motives (such as getting “clicks” or a side business selling vitamin supplements?).

I felt the same way about “demon sperm doc”. When a licensed medical professional puts themselves out there as nutso, it certainly makes one wonder how they obtained their license in the first place, whether it was even valid. It’s not unfair for them to at least be reviewed by a medical board for continuity of their license. If anything, given the amount of medical malpractice overall, there is far too little accountability for bad doctors. Seems to me when one volunteers themselves up as a nutjob, the licensing board should listen (and that process shouldn’t even be slightly political, it should 100% be run by doctors).

 

You can always count on righties to keep the rest of us informed on the latest happenings in the gay and trans communities.

I mean transgender is uprooting thousands of years of normalcy and culture. It also threatens certain people that a couple years ago you libbies seemed to care about.
Today, trans rights are more important than women’s rights.

 

It's not doing crap. This is a pittance of the US and world population. The right wing obsession on them for culture war purposes is the only reason anyone has to even think about them. It gives people the illusion that the GOP has any purpose other than tax cuts for the rich.

Is that the Canadian government or the psych professional board? I would agree that the government shouldn’t do that but a licensing board has that ability.
