Baseball Around the SEC - Week 11 (4/27 - 5/3/23)

When you are watching 2 games, 2 stats feeds and 2 game threads at the same time it happens, especially when you are my age. LOL.

 

Obviously injuries for South Carolina but SEC is a grind, can't take anyone litely or play at anything other than your best. They're banged up but probably just one of those weekends and Auburn is good, helluva young core.

 

They are a mix of young and veteran(offinsively) and are playing w/ desperation. which can go one of two ways..

Under CBT. AU is 9-2 vs SC, incl. now 6 straight wins & 4 straight series wins.

 

Quit bragging. LOL.

 

SC been down until this year,, more of a Butch has their number stat.

 

I said to @jhfxof several weeks ago that I really liked Auburn. They are very pesky. That same South Carolina team that we are saying is injured and missing players swept a great Florida team, so let’s not underscore how big it is Auburn taking the series from them

 

When not walking , hitting batters. I like their chances vs anyone. But thats a rarity.

 

This could easily be said about our club as well.

Couldnt hold on. But didnt play well enough to win. 3 Es on Ps. 2 or 3 PB(he had 6 in entirte career) picked off in 9th down 1. etc.
Even bats, despite early lead & the 5 HRs, wasted at least 2 bases loaded less than 2 out chances in the back end of game.

Back in the thick of it at least w/ series win.. Basicaly top 7 are all but in post season(I dont think UK can fall all the way out, but maybe). then 3 at 9-12 and UGa 8-13. Just be better than that group rest of way and youre in.

All 3 of the 9-12 teams host Top 10 teams next week, & UGa host Vols.

 

Just when it looked like UGA was making a run.. shame haha

 

Yep, and many clubs.. But one Im referring to does it at much higher rate than the rest...much, much..lol

 

MSu fired Foxhall today. Hopefully Butch will see if he wants to return to AU next year. CCL protecting own backside IMO

I also bet the Uga-OM game Sun. that was scheduled to start at 2:30 .. Started at 12 , so my site just killed all bets, even if made prior to 12.. I bet Uga so saved me on that one.. Best thing was I didnt know cancelled till after game,, so it served its purpose,, added entertainment of watching the game.. and it was free.
