would they have been drafted if they remained at UF? Would Copeland have been featured receiver in year 1 and had more catches? Would Diabate have led team in tackles after transfer of other LB to Mizzou?

I think both would’ve been better off staying at UF…given that they could’ve adjusted their attitudes and put in the work that the new staff required.

Lots of talent, didn’t have the right attitude. Hope he gets signed somewhere, but he lost a great opportunity last year.

    I want to mention:

Miami TE Will Mallory was drafted by the Colts.

    Who cares, right?

Well, he is the first alumnus from my Alma Mater, Providence School in Jacksonville, to be drafted into the NFL.

    Cool beans.

  13. I attempted to map the players' pre-draft ranking against draft position. I could not get the table to work, so here is a screenshot. Depending on the source for pre-draft rankings, there were no big surprises in rounds 1 through 5. The Gators had 10 players in the draft, with 5 being selected and 4 being undrafted free agents. Just for fun I tracked former Gators, with none being drafted and 3 of 8 being signed as undrafted free agents. For comparison, Georgia had 10 of 12 players drafted and 1 of 2 former players signed as undrafted free agents (including Brenton Cox who has not yet signed). Alabama had all 14 players drafted. I could not easily find information on former Alabama players being drafted or signed. The takeaway is that Florida (as if it is not readily apparent) attracts NFL talent, but not quite on par with Alabama and Georgia (obviously), even if some of the talent leaves during coaching changes or any other reason. Florida is still among the top programs for producing NFL talent.
