Maybe this belongs in the recruiting forum but here goes:
Rank what you think is the most important to least important issues for recruits or transfers choosing a school out of the following:
    NIL Deal
Track Record of getting to the NFL
    Head Coach
    Facilities
Childhood or Family attachment to the school
    Academics
    Geographic location

I think most kids are going to pick the NFL track as most important with NIL deal second. Then head coach followed by facilities.

The NFL is for a select few players. Most of the thousands of high school kids know they are not going to the NFL. NIL is also only for the kids that have Sunday hopes. For the vast majority of players, maybe they should be looking at coaches and education but who knows what they’re really looking at. Geographic location and quality of life while they’re in school should play a big factor also.

I would guess that just about every D-1 eligible football player thinks they have a shot at the NFL. Up to that point they have likely seen few players as talented as themselves. That will change quickly once they get to their campus. The math says they have almost no shot but teenage boys don’t believe in the math.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is where do we need to improve to move back in contention for SEC and national championships? Facilities seems to have improved tremendously, Napier looks like he is improving recruiting. If he can't coach or scheme though, it might be another Zook situation where he landed all the talent and Meyer came in and won with it and his talent acquisition didn't diminish the success of the team.

That would be fine too. We need a couple more years to have good upper class men. We have 18-19 year old kids right now. They may be talented but too young and inexperienced atm.
