Great comeback and a much needed win. The top of the order came through in the end. Hug walk-off for Reagan Walsh. Charla had a big night with 3 hits and 3 RBI. Now, they need to buckle down and sweep this series. Just hope they can get tomorrow's game in. GOOOOO Gators!!!

I'm pretty sure no one suggested that, but she is struggling horribly at the plate AND struggling behind the plate defensively. That combo is inevitably going to draw attention and be discussed. I get your point of the dead horse, it's quite valid. But in a tight game where a passed ball or a throw down to second allows a run to score it's going to get beaten again

 

Now please don’t wait until the bottom of the seventh to get things going tomorrow!

And btw..some do think that as she seems to be constantly berated...as I have said in the past..players, family members and friends read these comments ( and I know this for a fact ) I am sure no one here would want their own children or family members talked about the way some do here

I know....I won't touch a football or basketball game thread on any board because people lose their mind the instant anything goes awry. One of the reasons I love this board, by and large the baseball and softball posters are knowledgeable and provide measured responses. Having frequented a LOT of UF message boards, this is the best segment of posters and it isn't close.

Funny..used to think so about this group..but notice it has gotten a bit "rough" in here...could be frustration because we aren't winning like in the past..some I notice only come in when we are losing..see it in all the sports..not just here..not sure why...

 

You are so right. I found the Diamond Gators board a few years ago and couldn't believe how well people got along. There's humor, poking fun, knowledgeable comments and a lot of passion without the anger and personal attacks at each other. I have a great deal of respect for just about all the posters on Diamond Gators.

Well, can't say 100%. There are a few "drive-bys" who just pop in to make negative comments without basis. But overall, it's a great board.

 

And seem to appear right about the time the Gators are struggling or losing...it happens in every forum here..check it out the next game
