    Huh?

It is not that I am offended by anything. It is that abnormal behavior is being peddled. And I can’t say if I would address it to the person or not. It would depend on the circumstances.

So if you were in the minority of having a possible problem with someone saying their pronouns (in which you are, because 52% per Pew research say they are comfortable or very comfortable in someone using their pronouns), who'd be the abnormal one?

    You would.

Funny thing is you have the choice to see this another way.
Pronouns really is silly, but you and the libbie warriors are hell bent on making this an issue. Not once do you admit to how ridiculous it is.
It’s hard to take people serious who do this stuff.
Pronouns will not be a thing in 5 years.

    LOL!!!!

Please don’t tell me you regularly engage with people pronouncing their pronouns…

I will let you know it has never happened to me. Now my daughter had “A” “singular” classmate in high school create a pronoun issue for her once. Sadly more likely a singular encounter will happen for someone like her.

The fact I have multiple sources telling me that tour guides at UF are doing this…Is Abnormal! Seriously! Abnormal! It is not Normal in Everyday Life. And you know it. We should not normalize this. Period!

Unlike my daughter dealing with a singular situation. This is clearly being pushed by UF imo based on what we know.

Anyone pushing for pronouns is a joke, a complete waste of time for serious people.

I probably paid more in taxes last year than you made so it’s no biggie out of state. Good thing is I won’t get loans for my kid and beg for them to be forgiven.

start your own thread. No one in here cares about pronouns more than you and a few other whiners on here. You say I’m making it a thing but it’s you guys that are all pissed about it and constantly bringing it up. But anyways back on topic.

that’s big. Lane was pretty influential for a lot of different reasons not only to Uf but to the local area because of his position responsible for the Uf campus master plan.

I have to tell you the sheer volume of senior leadership leaving the institution all at once is just massive.

To the outside, this could be a very good thing.
It looks like the libbie rats are jumping ship. The school might actually have a chance at improvement.

I mean just consider the scope of the change right now:

Chris Cowan, CFO is gone - just left and went to Cornell

Now Charlie Lane, COO is gone.

Joe Glover, Provost (essentially CAO) is gone effective after July.

Andy McCollough, Sr Assoc Provost and guy in charge of everything online is leaving with Joe Glover.

In addition, 3 deans have left (engineering, Law, Pharmacy)

The vice president of enrollment management - Mary Parker - was a finalist for a president job, so you know she has one foot out the door if she isn't just straight fired.

    I mean, that's crazy!

I have no idea if Lane was conservative or liberal - but I don't think anyone here will cry about his leaving. It's just big because it leaves a leadership vaccum, and the guy replacing him as interim, Curtis? Not nearly as sharp/savy... His decisions regarding housing especially have been bad for the local community, at least in my opinion, although I know many on the BOT were happy, at least early in his tenure (not sure how things were going lately, I guess not good lol).
It's so weird that you choose to opine on things of which you know absolutely nothing.
