Are you in the locker room or at practices to know why Coach said that...there could be a really good reason that we as fans have no clue...

 

To host a regional I think they’d have to win out AND get some wins in the SEC tournament and yet they seem to be sleepwalking. Need the offense that put up 17 vs Tennessee regardless of how that series turned out.

But do you know why he said it..that's what I am trying to convey..maybe she's an unselfish player and helps in the locker room.. or at practices..there are many reasons that the coach said that about her..and it may have nothing to do with your perception of "having it"...

But she's had all year to prove herself and has not done it behind the plate nor hitting. She's a liability and there are better hitters and better catchers on the team. I would have to think that affects morale.
This team is on the verge of a bunch of firsts: 1st Tim Walton team to not win 40 games. 1st Walton team to have a losing SEC record. 1st Walton team to not host an NCAA regional and potentially the 1st Walton team to finish the season not ranked in the Top 25. The team is slumping and is not doing the things they need to win - not just pitching, but defense, base running (like we just saw with Egan) and not getting key hits with runners in scoring position. From being the pre-season pick to win the SEC and starting in the Top 10, this team has underachieved more than any Gator softball team I can remember. And I've been following Gator softball for 30 years. Very disappointing.

 

The girls have blown leads in 4 of the last 5 games.

However, she is 1 player on the team..she isn't pitching or fielding..my point is the same posters have picked on her...like she is the cause of why the team is playing poorly..and she isn't..there are 8 other players..

 

I have followed it since it started at UF..but I do appreciate your opinions and insights..thank you...
