Never mind, I re read your post. They just used pronouns to introduce themselves.
UF needs to kick these weirdos out and get back to the basics.

Nah, there’s ample normal schools out there. UF is a little too big for their britches these days trying to keep up with the woke CA schools.

 

If you as a middle age man dont feel old and irrelevant on a college campus, that school isnt 'normal' lol.

Going to tour Auburn and possibly Clemson. Won’t let her tour FSU and thankfully she has no interest.

 

There was zero reason for doing it. It was done to prove a point it seemed and it was very weird. Felt like I was on campus at PCU.

I’ve already begun selling my daughter against UF. It’s sad.

 

I said I don’t think I want my kid to go there. Not just because someone said their pronouns but that was an interesting part of the tour. My kid would get a scholarship anyway.

 

Fascinating that you think you need to sell your daughter against the notion of going to UF because you don't like it. Not that she wouldn't or doesn't like it (which would require no such selling).

 

I don’t think that the lack of opinions from faculty in an article should be count as solid evidence that the faculty are happy with Sasse. Though nor would I find a few negative reviews to be good evidence for a wide consensus of that opinion. And I’m not sure that even a properly demonstrated broad consensus of faculty at this early stage would amount to great evidence either.

I think we need to wait a while before we can adequately assess the fruits of Sasse’s labors.

 

There were indeed valid reasons for doing it, regardless of how offended you got over a person showing courtesy to people who are different from yourself.

 

Yep…have heard the same thing from a couple of people. Including close friend whose twins both are freshmen at UF.

Which is part of the reason why it was so amusing that the daughter of @obone1 did not want to go to UF because of dei/abortion/trans stuff.

Have heard this now from multiple people. I never set foot on campus until preview. Grew up a fsu fan from the panhandle but was entering college as an engineer (ended as a Business undergrad and a Masters in Industrial Engineering). So knew UF was superior to fsu.

I do not plan to tour with these kids today giving the tours. Mom and Dad will be able to provide the tour and our kids will be able to make the decision for themselves. If I go on a tour and some kid tells me their pronouns…it could get awkward lol!

 

Evidently, the total lack of women's reproductive rights and the culture wars are quickly running 'em all out...should be fine.

You anti pronouners sure sound like good ole common sense muricans. Like go take a stand on a real issue lol. Also going out of state rather than taking advantage of bright futures and fpp is just financial stupidity unless you’re going to like a top private school. Especially if the driving issue is liberal students scaring you away.
