I looked it up. He got his degree from talladega a historical black college thru something called their zoom program. Which I couldn’t really tell but it felt like a buy a degree online program.
Dan LeBatard said on his show a few years back that Sanders had a 0.0 GPA his senior year in college and showed up for a game in a limo and top hat. Not a good influence on your kids. Did not value education.
Let me ask you, are all those kids academic scholarships honored? Because believe it or not most of the 85 players graduate and try for their degree. These kids used their athletic ability tonearm a scholarship that a coach at one point thought they were good enough for. If they allow them to continue to pursue their degree in the event they realize that less than half the kids who enter the portal find a new home then this situation wouldn't be so bad.
It was the UF game in ‘88, I was there and I remember it as a sombrero. But either way, he’s been a self important turd since college.
Why is he being judged by what he did as a 21-year old college kid instead of his current values as an older, wiser man who now has children of his own and realizes the importance of education?
I don’t know what the details of any of that are so I can’t really answer. Hopefully they’re able to find a new school to complete their studies.

I believe scholarships are on a year by year basis. Posters have said that UF scholarships were for 4 years, but I believe that has been proven wrong.
I’m not a Deion fan however… I have read through 7 pages of posts and if I were hired to turn around a 1-11 program, I would know coming in changes would have to be made. And if I wasn’t willing to make them then I’d be gone in a few years. Same in the business world… struggling company…evaluate talent over a few months. Those who aren’t on board have to go or it’s my job. Change has to happen fast. They were 1 and 11? Way worse than what CBN inherited. Less talent on the roster as well
