While I tend to agree, I also had a similar opinion of Trump in 2016 and as it turned out I was wrong. While he has much more baggage now and in every election since 2018 the Democrats at least in states where it really counts have outperformed the polls I still wouldn't count him out. Somewhat ironic, by taking extreme positions the Republicans will very likely end up mobilizing younger votes who historically have a record of non-involvement in electoral politics to turn out in record numbers to cast their votes for the oldest candidate ever to run for the presidency.

 

I suspect that he will cite the emails extracted from Hunter Biden's laptop like the one concerning the meeting that Hunter supposedly arranged between the Chinese businessman and the "big guy". Still amazes me that even if the meeting took place which I doubt how Biden could have influenced policy in 2018 considering that Trump was in the White House and the Republicans had majorities in both the House and Senate.
