Is the weak pitching putting stress on the defense?

Echols HR makes it 6-7 top of 5th and still batting.

I would like the record to reflect that my prior post was immediately before the 3-run HR.

 

Sounds like the moonshine is flowing freely.

 

Been watching The Voice with my wife and checking in on the game periodically. Another blown lead. Just no pitching against good hitters and too many walks, compounded by a defense that is not up to Gator standards. Formula for a season that's going to end earlier than we're used to I'm afraid. And @FSU Wednesday!

Well the KY series in a couple of weeks should be fun. A couple of SEC pitching juggernauts going head to head for the worst ERA in the SEC. If that doesn't get your blood running nothing will.

From the glass half-full side.....this is the #1 team in the SEC that we're getting beat by; we're not even in the top half. Granted we were swept, but we were in the last two games (until we weren't).

I bought third-party tickets for @FSU at the beginning of the season. I probably would have paid less if I waited, but I was anticipating two teams at the top of the rankings doing battle.

 

this is the weakest pitching group I have ever seen at UF. This is getting to be slow pitch softball almost

 

I hope every incoming FR is in the lineup next season. There are some returning players that really need to be on the bench or elsewhere. And it is time to hit the portal for a quality/experienced pitcher.

 

I hope Skylar is not allowed to transfer again. If she is she would be smart to move on with a team that has a chance to win it all. Skylar has one bite of the apple left. I would if I was her.

 

With our incoming classes, two years eligibility left, and her fitting in well with the program, I respectfully disagree.
