If I was running against Cruz all my ads would feature the fact he plays 2/5 poker. You're a common man, you're allowed to play 2/5. Cruz is worth millions.

The question was whether Jewish conservatives are sufficiently numerous such that it is not in the least bit unusual to see a Jewish pundit on Fox News. Clearly they are, as there are Jewish conservatives on every secular conservative site you can imagine, some are even run by Jews. This would also be obvious at any Republican fundraising event you could attend in New York.

And American Jews have always played a prominent role in the "New Right" that emerged after WWII, such that it couldn't exist it's present form without Jews. If you want a few dozen notable examples, just ask.

That Orthodox and religious Jews are loathesome isn't worth responding to. But wrt to their not participating in American Politicans, that would contradict my experience living in Lakewood NJ, which Mitt Romney apparently found important enough to visit.

While not religious myself, I gained a certain measure of respect for the Orthodox/Hasidic community, largely through reading Jewish authors Isaac Bashevis Singer and Israel Joshua Singer, Chaim Potok, and Chaim Grade among others. They are generally the first to harassed, assaulted, spit on, even murdered; yet still they persevere. They aren't my favorite group to encounter, but I don't share in the contempt for them either.

Tell me you don't understand how revenue in media works without telling me you have no idea how revenue in media works (hint: his audience is essentially worthless to advertisers and Fox's revenue model relies extremely heavily on carriage agreements).

I’m not an expert myself so I’m curious how having the number one cable show on TV is not monetizable.

And those carriage rights are in no small part because of the prime time hosts that people demand to see.

His audience is very old (average age is somewhere around 65). Advertisers generally don't want audiences that are that old. This is a general problem for Fox. So, their revenue model is heavily dependent on being paid by cable/satellite companies. I believe they make more money than any network other than ESPN from that source. It is great from a company perspective, as it means that you have a constant source of dependable revenue, without worrying too much about advertisers (which is why they don't care when a big chunk of their advertisers were sketchy gold/seed/prepper suppliers or the MyPillow guy). But it makes it hard for their "stars" to monetize that audience when they leave, as those agreements are generally relatively long term and hard to boost in the short-term. Again, see O'Reilly after he left Fox.

I don’t know what kind of advertising he has, but there were stories about advertisers fleeing after some of his more obnoxious and hateful spewings

To put some numbers to this, they make about $2 per cable/satellite subscriber per month. That results in about $1.5 billion in revenue per year. That is more than the entire corporation (which includes other networks) makes in advertising revenue by about 50%.

I'm sure he could dookie on some paper, bind it, and have another NY times bestseller if he wanted to.

    Heard an interesting idea today.
This is the first step to selling the network. But they can’t have Tucker as the face of their product. Easier to sell without him.

He could start a “Give Tuck a buck to fight da man” fund and have 40mil in a week.

And yet it is the orthodox members pushing Israel further right and being videotaped spitting on Palestinians and Christians in Jerusalem. Never understood the jewish support for a pub party being driven by white nationalism
