I'm hesitant to make that kind of evaluation without really knowing the inner workings. Too many variables.
Bosch has the credentials, not Rocha level but who does. And I know pitchers that aren't Rocha fans either.
Thomas is a really good recruiter, and he's a proven hitting coach in baseball....one could argue that doesn't necessarily translate to softball, but I think Walton is heavily involved there as well....as have been our 3rd assts (Amanda and Brewer).
Truth be told our sample size is relatively small for both. We know this incoming class has talent, don't think that is debatable. IF we aren't playing at the highest level with them then we will have some answers.

He's had top classes year after year but same problems exists. However, I know I'm just being an impatient fan, and love to see UF on top at all sports. Patience is not my strength.

Thomas must be doing something right when it comes to Wallace. She went into this season with a career (3 seasons) 16 homeruns. Now, all the sudden, she has 16 so far just in this season. That's a big jump!

What we are saying is wrong. It is way too long to give these coaches another shot. We cannot wait until these classes come in, we need to give them the best coaches we can find. What we have now, these classes do not deserve.

Disagree. Skylar is special, she doesn’t need coaching up, if she’s on the bases or in the box she’s always got the green light. Not every player is Skylar and they need coaching up. (So the hitting coach coached up Skylar and forgot about the rest of the team?)

Skylars increase in power is probably just a product of access to a weight room and nutritionist. And a plethora of natural talent of course.

I wish the others had that desire. We used to play with a chip on our shoulder, but Skyler is the only one I see like that

She has said as much. She has her own green light. Screw Eric!

Apk, you disagree on replacing the coaches. Give me some cogent reasoning.

    Umm, post 81 says hello:)

I would add, I'm not sure what the "health" of our pitchers is and how that factors into performance.
And by and large we are pretty solid offensively. Some of our lineup choices are head scratchers to me, but I think that's CTW. Kistler and Goelz have disappointed at the plate this season but we are still generally putting up the runs to win. Tennessee series actually was very encouraging from an offense standpoint.

Maybe just me, but it seems a bit disingenuous to criticize the coaches on player development but then not give them credit for those that have played well. This is the nature of message boards tho, I see it all the time with the other sports boards.
