Did Max Brown play more than one series last night? If not did Napier provide a reason or justification why?
He's lightning fast . . . unexpectedly fast. Seemed hard to time throws to such a speedster. They'll figure it out and he will be a huge weapon under the right circumstances.
Good thing they hid this shatshow on a Thursday night. Others just chuckle over how bad we have become. Thanks for not having this on the weekend where I would have spent $1000+ to watch this hot mess. 4 months to perform a miracle of sorts. Good luck and GG!
I don’t think the scrimmage game was designed for your entertainment. So probably a good idea that you didn’t attend. Kudos to you for saving all that money.
I would be perfectly happy with that performance come the fall provided that we had 300 yards rushing or better to go with it.
Disagree. I say that the ENTIRE purpose of a spring game is fan entertainment. Virtually everything else that a coach might want to accomplish can occur in a scrimmage during any practice (without fans).
Minus the having to perform in front of a live crowd. Some people are incredible on the practice field but choke in live action. I can hit any golf shot you want on the range but out on the course look out. I do think we look way different come game #1 but I am still not sold that we have a vastly different record than the past two seasons. We just don't have the depth yet to be able to have injuries and plug someone in and not skip a beat.
I see that Colorado gets national coverage on a Saturday afternoon for their scrimmage. All hail prime time the scumbag. What a joke.
