Don’t Shoot the Messenger

This is what I expected, tbh. Clayton was recruited as point guard and listed as a combo guard by both Iona and us. Solid assist rate, low turnover rate, good usage rate + great efficiency. He should be fine there, especially with us running stuff through Kugel, allowing Clayton to cut off the ball and spot up--two areas here we was very solid at Iona.

 

clayton is a combo guard. I suspect we.are looking to add another of similar category… and the pg duties would be shared accordingly. I don’t have much doubt about Clayton’s abilities in a pg role.

 

PG is Clayton's job to lose right now. He's had good PT at PG already. OMG, he'll get more PT at PG from former PG CTG and PG TG.

If he is an Allen Iverson that can play point and score a lot I am fine with it.

Just as long as he shows up for practise.
