It's outgrageously inaccurate and incitefully dangerous to make blanket statements like 'this is what Democrats or Republicans want.' It's only the fringe lunatics on either party who want violence. Please, don't listen to idiots who post their insanely dangerous ravings on the 'Net.

Amazing that trans males are not having success competing against biological males. Just dishonest to pretend it’s an “imaginary” advantage.

What does that have to do with trans females? Oh I get it, you can’t argue the other so you want to argue about trans males like it’s the same thing.

It’s because biological males have an advantage over biological females. Didn’t realize I had to spell it out for you.

What grade are you in? For those of us in Florida who are allowed to learn about gender science, we have found out that gender is not binary. The genes of a 6’7” basketball player who is playing in the WNBA and is married to another woman differ with respect to gender from those of my 5’1” wife. The genes of transgender males and females differ with respect to gender from the genes of a cisgender person. The question is whether we treat these people as second class citizens or whether we treat them with the respect and dignity that they are entitled to. Obviously, there are issues with transgenders regarding sports, bathrooms, locker rooms, health care, etc. There needs to be a reasonable and humane way to address these issues, but that’s not the way that Florida and many other Republican-controlled states are dealing with these issues. By the way, attached are pictures of a couple of transexuals. The one who looks like a man was born with female genitalia and the one who looks like a woman was born with male genitalia. Which bathrooms should they use?

Unfortunately some people are either ignorant or obtuse. The poster you are engaging with is both.

Based on your reasoning you could try to spell it out but I doubt the words would be spelled correctly. Now pay attention. This thread is about women’s sports, not men’s sports. If you want to have a conversation about trans males inability to compete with cis males then start a thread about it. Okay sweetie?☺️

It’s about biological males competing against biological females. Biological males have an advantage no matter how either side identifies themselves.

I guess if you can’t make a cognitive argument you resort to stupid memes. I guess that’s your way of admitting you don’t know what you are talking about.

Whenever right-wingers get worked up on this subject and start spouting off about "women's rights," it requires one to actually agree with the right-wing position that transgender women aren't women. That's the first failure of your argument.

Second, a transgender person starting their transition before puberty mitigates the biological advantages they would have had. Yet, right-wing governments are banning transgender children from being able to do this. Why? Bigotry.

Third, for transgender women who transitioned after puberty, their biological advantage depends on the sport and how long they've been undergoing treatment. Yet, the one-size-fits-all approach pushed by the right-wing bigots doesn't account for that reality. Why? Because this is all about animus. It's not about trying to preserve fairness. It's about telling a group of people that right-wingers don't like that they can't participate.

And not only does this exclude transgender women, but it also leads to cisgender women being harassed and questioned. Why? Because they're too good or because they don't fit neatly into the ideal of what some bigots believe a woman should be or look like.

"Women are too stupid to know what's good for them." Shocker that they're not falling all over themselves to vote Republican.

This is where I generally am. I’m pretty much against trans competing in Women’s sports, period, but it doesn’t rise to the level of national law, and I am not sure what are the other implications of such a federal law. Would you then have to have biological sex certification from a physician since being in violation would be in violation of federal law?
