Handlogten will start at the 5, Samuel at the 4 (Richard 22 mins or so off bench). Kugel (3), Clayton (2) and banking on Perry (not a true 1, but good enough to cause problems) to wrap the first unit up. If Perry goes elsewhere (certainly possible), Richard slides to 3 and Clayton/Kugel share the 1, unless another portal guy pops. Aberdeen is waiting, watching and working out, in the interim.

Agreed. I don't understand why some are pretending to know who gets what minutes at this or that position. We'll have a starting five on opening night but it might be a considerably different five three games later.

10 different players at Florida last season started at least 7 games.

To be fair, it was Golden's first season. Those 10 guys included five returnees, four transfers, and one incoming freshman, so only half of them were chosen by Golden. Add in the loss of CC to injury, and you have a pretty potent mixture for lineup uncertainty.

Barring injury, I would be pretty surprised if Kugel, Richard, Clayton, and Samuel aren't regular starters. Two are returnees and all four handpicked by Golden.

I suspect you're right. The fifth spot will likely be either Jarvis or Handlogten. That's just going by the roster as it stands today. Add in a top point guard and it might change.

I know a lot of the discussion up to this point has been focused on the PG & SG spots. As the roster has developed, I did find myself wondering about the PF position. Losing Fudge, signing Samuel and the transfer from Harvard & the incoming freshman just added to my curiosity about how that position will play out. I do expect improved shooting ( we can’t but improve….right?).

Improved rebounding is another area on the wish list and the PF position is going to really important to an improvement in that area.
