good point. And in the end, it can only hurt the strength of the SEC. If a player or players are dead set on transferring in that late window (and want to play that year), they have to leave the sec. Just forces talent out of the league.
I agree that the rules should be uniform all the way across football and not just for one conference. I also think if you sign, you should be obligated at least through that entire season.
It does force talent out of the SEC, but those are players who couldn’t make the too deep. The good teams don’t care about the bottom part of an 85 man roster. Did Georgia lose any sleep about losing Cox to us, no, and we had to kick him off the team
With all the tampering going on, how do we even know that Georgia boosters aren't already paying our players for our playbook and gameday prep?
Now that's another subject all together that deserves it's own thread... And don't get me started about how "sandbagging" works against some teams more than others. Is sandbagging just laziness or is it more than that?
Well if they are paying for our playbook then they damn sure should get a refund on the purchase for page 129 which is wide receiver screen to the boundary and anything related to special teams should also be no charge.
I was hoping to see him fill Justin Shorter’s role this year but I will be interested to see where he ends up.
