Not at all like Sharknado. More like “The Nice Guys” with Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe - action comedy crime. Everyone I know who’s seen it likes it. Plus it makes a mockery of Tennessee so that’s a bonus.
What a morning it is for mr city. He thinks libs are more attractive than cons, false. Tons of links out there. Now he’s pushing cocaine bear as a decent movie. Wow. What’s next, the economy is roaring and Biden is giving us a soft landing, avoiding a recession? This guy.
Thanks for checking it out so fast! The scientists dudes were hilarious. I like the philosophical aspect regarding the madness of trying to find causes (a lesson our board could learn as they blame 100% of our problems on the other side). I also like the nihilistic reveal of who they’ve been fighting the whole time. But critically I feel the flawed characters earn their final Christmas scene.
Well put. My wife and I woke this morning liking it more. I guess it sank in. The scientists were hilarious and not the typical crime assistants. Really like the Ukrainian who got a second chance in life. And the little girl had no idea what he was, so no judgment was passed. Very interesting way to bring those characters together. The subtitles and the harsh language took a bit away from the initial viewing I think.
I assume this is the more recent movie, not the 70s one with Robert Duvall (which is also really good)
Side note… I watched 1996 the pusher yesterday. It’s got your guy Mads in it. It was an ok movie and the sequel looks to showcase Mads even more so I’ll probably sit through it.
Didn't know there was one but I will check it out. I bet it can't compete with quality writing like "pain don't hurt".
