If you flip a bat towards the opposing bench while yelling at them, you’re going to get tossed too. You’re allowed some leeway if your celebration is directed towards your own team. He knows he can’t do what he did. Our guys get warned coming off the mound all the time, even when their energy is directed at our bench. They know they can’t direct that energy at the opposing dugout. We may have already been warned too, I’m not sure.
It seems to get further behind Gal every commercial break. By the end of the game, she’s usually a full batter ahead of my feed.
Kurland a little shaky at 2nd, but Nic Fic closed it out. Another SEC series win for the good guys!! Halfway through the SEC season at 11-4 is really good. @South Carolina next weekend is going to be a real challenge.
Way to fight back from Friday night and take the series, boys. Georgia’s win/loss record may not say that they’re a great team, but this is the sec and there is no easy outs. They can swing the bat. Thanks to gatorgal for the amazing job on PBP, as always.
Statbroadcast is always ahead of internet-I just hit reset to catch up, will still be about 5 seconds behind.
They really have some guys at the top that are tough outs. Their upcoming schedule Arkansas, UT, and LSU is going to make it pretty tough to make the postseason, but that's the conference.
Yikes, hope this is wrong or it can be appealed, though I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting on a successful outcome of an appeal. This looks like he may be out for four games. I remembered Dalton having an extra game added, as I mentioned earlier. Pitchers get four though. This would be a pretty big blow at this point of the season. “e. Whenever a pitcher is ejected for disputing an umpire’s decision or for unsportsmanlike conduct or language directed at an opponent or umpire (including a post-participation ejection), the suspension will be for a total of four (4) games. This applies whether the ejection occurs while the player is serving as the current game pitcher or after having been removed from the game and his last listed position was that of a pitcher. If a player is removed as pitcher but remains in the game in another capacity such as a designated hitter or at a defensive position and is then ejected, the suspension penalty is one additional game.” https://baseballrulesacademy.com/of...-26-ejection-and-post-participation-ejection/
Nice weekend at the plate by Robertson. Really needed to get him going and he came through in some big spots.
