KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A teenager is recovering after being shot outside of a Kansas City, Missouri, home Thursday evening. Police believe it was a case of mistaken identity. Officers responded to a home near the city’s Northland area around 10 p.m. Thursday and found the injured teenager suffering from life-threatening injuries. Police said the teenager was picking up his siblings at a house on Northeast 115th Terrace, but mistakenly went to a house on Northeast 115th Street. Officers transported the alleged shooter to the police department. The department said he’s been released pending further investigation. Terrible. Lots of details missing. LOTS Was alcohol involved by the shooter? Did the teen act aggressive and threatening when his siblings were not present?( I would have if I thought my sibling were in the house and the owner would let them come out.) I’m not saying there is a good reason for this shoot… I’m just asking for the details. Seems strange that a guy rings your doorbell and you shoot him through the door.
Yeah, the unarmed teenager probably stuff his hands in his pants and charged the homeowners ... let's try that one again ...
Mistakenly telling the GPS “street” instead of “terrace” and vice versa will probably do that. In any case, I guess some believe the punishment for ringing the doorbell at the wrong address should be 2 bullets to the head.
GPS doesn’t always pick up the address you enter/tell it the first time. And of course you have all these questions about the victim and not the person who shot him. Typical.
Next, they’ll be telling us it was obviously a “good shoot” because the victim got in a fight at school that one time, or once smoked some MJ.
