Wow, Langford and Cags both in a slump. It scares me with Cags as he hasn’t looked good at the plate since his last pitching performance at UT. Seems to be reaching for outside pitches and trying to pull them. Tomorrow’s game will be big time for his confidence. Somebody check his locker for the kryptonite, I want the old Jac back.
Just a reminder… UGA got swept by SC, lost a series to Auburn, swept by Vandy, and got destroyed by an average Clemson.
I mean he’s hit 90+. He’s no Finnvold. He’s got a nice changeup and a nice breaking ball. He’s having a good night. Our guys are not seeing him well, that’s for sure.
It bothers me that our batters seemingly cannot adjust to this pitchers style after seeing for a few innings. Something seems very wrong here.
I always expect to beat Ga in baseball, but to be fair they just won a series vs highly ranked Kentucky. It's not like we're playing the Noles.
