He's drinking the Kool Aid too on our Anthony Richardson. But he doesn't have Will Levis falling like McShay and Reid. 1st 4 picks are ALL QB's? 1. Carolina Panthers (via CHI) Bryce Young, QB, Alabama 2. Houston Texans C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State 3. Tennessee Titans (via mock trade with ARI) Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida 4. Indianapolis Colts Will Levis, QB, Kentucky 5. Seattle Seahawks (via DEN) Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia 6. Detroit Lions (via LAR) Will Anderson Jr., OLB, Alabama 7. Las Vegas Raiders Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois 8. Atlanta Falcons Nolan Smith, OLB, Georgia 9. Chicago Bears (via CAR) Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee 10. Philadelphia Eagles (via NO) Peter Skoronski, OT/G, Northwestern 30. Seattle Seahawks (via mock trade with PHI) Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee ROUND 2 38. Las Vegas Raiders O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida
Why would the Titans take Richardson after they just took Willis last year? Both are QB's that are projects that will take several years to develop.
How many times have Kiper and McShay revised their draft predictions? They will have to get one or two of the first round right at some point. They are worse than the weather guessers and they, presumably, get paid for their nonsense.
Mel isn’t the draft. We know Anthony will go first 10. Hopefully, it’s with the right organization. Don’t think the Titans are the right one.
The thinking I read on that was willis looked so bad in his few starts that they might have already given up on him
Anybody taking any defensive player ahead of Will Anderson is making a mistake. WA can change the outcome of a game. Carter does not.
They have to put out a lot of dumb mocks. No one would pay attention if their mock 1.0 was the same as 14.0
Thanks! I wouldn’t hate that for the Bucs, but those are 2 guys who have gone higher on most mocks. I’m hoping for Anton Harrison/Darnell Wright in the first and then more of a EDGE like the KSU guy in the second. Many different ways to go, just hope it’s LOS early
Here's another interesting mock draft from Sports Illustrated (8.0 no less), that has the Bucs drafting Will Levis at #19. https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/04/13/2...ampaign=2886880#gid=ci02bc31eed000253f&pid=18
That would be a tough pill to swallow. Need to strengthen the team before taking a developmental QB imo
Brady was great at reading defenses and getting the ball out quickly. Bucs OL was awful last year. No running game and pocket collapsed quickly. Need to improve line ASAP
Levis needs to be in a run heavy offense to be successful. I think him an AR can be successful in the right organization.
