Finding "good" movies or at least ones that appeal to you by asking others is tought since what makes a good or appealing movie is so subjective. However, I do wish you luck in getting some good recommendations. Sadly, I have little to add for you since I hardly ever watch a movie, but, I was going to ask if anyone has seen the documentary on HBOMax Titled : Chernobyl - The Lost Tapes.

Maybe it is just me and because I was working as a student intern at Oak Rdige National Lab in April of 1986, but I have always been fascinated by the events at that nuclear power plant and all of the actions subsequent to the accident.

Just watched Violent Night recently on Peacock. Thought it was entertaining. For some reason, I've unintentionally seen 3 John Leguizamo movies this week.

He's in a lot of movies, its pretty easy for that to happen. Definitely in the Sam Jackson school of "I'll be in any movie they pay me to do."

I saw that too, thought it was good. Better than that Winnie the Pooh horror movie that was out a couple months ago.

You can't go wrong with any of the Mission Impossible movies. My wife and I just rewatched Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation, and Fallout. I'm stoked for the new one in July.

Yeah, both have food involved. Sorta like how Carrie and The Breakfast Club are both about high school social dynamics.

Any movie where Tom Cruise is trying to get himself killed doing crazy stunts is gonna be good, and that is basically all his movies

My wife is a strange duck. She rarely laughs during movies but she was audibly laughing for significant stretches of the menu.

I thought it was hillarious too. The date was awesome. Great expressive face and a bad ass. Chef was slightly unhinged.

I liked it but I didn’t find it all that funny like y’all did. Extremely dark comedy bordering on horror. And my wife absolutely detests horror as a genre. Great movie though that does a great job of existing outside the normal genre rules.

History of Violence is one of my all time favorites. Probably worth watching again. Among the more recent; A man called Otto was excellent. My wife loved it.
