So you figure that because he doesn't speak like a preacher everywhere that him (again, the son of a preacher from Memphis) doing it while literally preaching is fake?

So the Tennesse Rs expel two young black legislators for raucous behavior. Both will probably be back in their seats in record time and feeling even more emboldened to talk about their anti-gun cause. Even if you agree with the Rs, the only thing that they have accomplished is looking even more racist than usual and opening themselves up to more outside scrutiny, tho that might be a good thing.

Somewhat related. Nashville flower shop refuses ‘blood money’ from GOP customers

Nashville flower shop says no to RNC business over gun stance, says 'blood' of murdered children is on money

"The Republican Party not only refuses to enact change, but many members of the party have worked to pass legislation that makes this problem worse, like the recent changes to gun laws here in Tennessee," it added.

The letter goes on to slam the GOP for "wasting taxpayer money and precious legislative will on banning drag shows, rather than assault rifles that are being used to murder children in their classrooms."

While the owners did not disclose the dollar amount of the job, they did say it was "large" and not something they would typically turn down. They added, "We will not be accepting any of your money. The blood of the 3 beautiful babies we lost in Nashville is on that money."

Just read because both guys were voted back they are now considered "new" members and get to submit 15 bills each. They'll be for gun control. So for review

They voted out two black legislators who were instantly reinstated. They managed to look like racists by leaving the white lady.

They instantly made these two guys nationally recognized.

The two guys are back and now get to introduce gun legislation that the GOP has to go on record voting against in the wake of the Nashville shooting.

How is the GOP so bad at this?

TN Republican leadership is big mad at the few R’s that voted not to expel the white legislator.

“You have to do right even if you think it’s wrong”
“We are at war for our republic”

The delusion and bunker mentality in that is just crazy.
One dude going on about how his dad fought at D day, I have respect for the guy that voted no. Even if expulsion was 1000 percent wrong, at least he wanted an actual demonstration of facts and not a sham trial. And stood his ground. But not one of them seemed to respect him for it, he was the one in the wrong apparently.
Bottom line, that audio was everything wrong with the country right now, especially on the right.

The Tennessee legislature did more to push the narrative of CRT than any academic.

I knew I shouldn't come back to have any dialog. I simply have seen some stuff on social media and was asking if there was any truth to it. What is so hard about that??
