Gymnastics: Florida Begins Competition For National Championship #4 -- Gators Advance!

Exactly right. Gators had a great rotation in the floor exercise, while Cal had 2 girls fall off the uneven bars and Denver had 2 girls fall of the beam. Florida back in the lead going to the final rotation. Now let's finish it off with a great Vault!!

 

LSU wins the semifinal, but Florida finishes 2nd to advance to Saturday national championships finals. With nerves out of the way, hopefully the team can upo their game and get their score over 198 and win the natty. Great job, Gators!

Yeah they had Trin as Rosie Casali..or something like that..but fixed it

 

We beat lsu in 3 of 4 of the apparatuses..beam, our usual strong event, is where they gained on us..they edged us out for 1st by .075...we had to count a 9.6...

 

Leeann had a 9.80 on beam..normally she hits her routine..had a big balance check

 

Whew! Way to go ladies!

 

Yeah, they looked very shaky on the beam and it's been a usual strength for this year's team. Our score today of 197.400 was the 2nd lowest score we've had all year. We had a 197.325 in a win over Alabama in January. They'll have to do much better than that to have a chance to win the national title.
