The Dawgs come to town bearing their 18-15 / 3-9 record, but likely feeling frisky after taking 2 from KY last weekend. Weather is questionable Sunday, so we might end up with a DH on Sat. Already starting it off interesting with the Sunday info. I like it. Friday night sounds like a perfect evening for baseball. A Saturday DH gives Georgia a more than likely chance to shuffle their pitching rotation. Blowing out to CF sounds like a good thing to get our bats going again.
Yep, gonna be a good ol' fashioned, typical battle with UGA this weekend, for sure. It is of the utmost importance to come out of the gates with an attitude on Friday, given the real possibility of a Saturday DH.
Stricklin should be on the hot seat if they continue to lose. Can't see him surviving another season if it continues. Only other coach that could be on a warm seat is Alabama's.
Maybe an “off-topic” deserved on this? Wrong thread? EDIT: Was thrown for a loop as your were talking about UGA’s baseball coach!
I see that both Dawg diamond teams will be in town this weekend. Be prepared for traffic as both stadiums will be busy.
I'd say MSU coach will be on the hot seat if they miss the NCAAs again. Expectations higher there so seat s/b hotter than Bama coach jmo.
He won a National Championship two years ago. That gives him at least two more years to figure it out.

I wouldnt count on that. That NC good feeling is quickly evaporating. 9-21 in SEC last year and 3-9 this year. Baseball is about the only thing the cowbells have to celebrate, so a lot of pressure to win. One year at the most if they miss the NCAAs this year. They need to start by winning the series at home vs Ole Miss this weekend, which is another struggling program.
Sproat, Waldrep and Cags it is. Georgia going with a LHP on Friday and Sunday but just some unknown guy named Earl for Saturday.
With Georgia starting a LHP on Friday and another LHP on Sunday that should be good for guys like Evans and Halter but not good for Riopelle, Robertson, and Cags.
Any word on what they are doing for the guys that played at UF in the 1970's? I think this is the right weekend. Any scoop @wingtee?
I’ll be there Lurk ! Not much , little golf , Sat night intros , tailgate Sat before game .. Typically not much . It’s ok .. looking forward to seeing the park . I think I’m in the outfield sipping cold beer both nites .
