Thanks. If I ever have trouble, I'll try my gmail account info. Even though my main email account is outlook, which I would have preferred. I normally use my gmail account just for filthy emails.
That's what it looked like on our TVs the first time we tried to access YouTube TV. You could use that: tv.youtube.com to go to the YouTube TV website though (but you still have to log-in).
YouTube is owned by Google. When you go to sign up if your browser detects a gmail account it will direct you to sign up through that. I would try using your gmail login for the ESPN app and see if it works.
Your devices are auto Logging you in. If you were to sign out and return to the site, you would see this.
That’s what it looks like on my tv. I posted a video showing you how to access your account info. On my tablet, youtubetv takes me to a welcome page asking me to sign in, when I click log in, it takes me to a google sign in page. Once I log in to my google account, if I try to get to the youtube tv page, I get this: If I click the little w in the top right corner, it takes me to my account page, where I can logout, change my password, get my account id, etc.
Well, your w works better than my r. When I click on the r in the top right corner on the YouTubeTV website, it takes me to my account page. But again it has things there like what plan I have and how I pay for it. There is nothing anywhere about a password, changing my password, or anything else related to login.
Open the regular ESPN app on your tv. Click on watch. Scroll down to channels. Scroll over to sec+. Click it. It will ask for your tv provider. Pick YouTubeTV or whoever. Watch the game. It’s that simple.
You don’t watch youtubetv on your tv? If you do, then you have at least one app, because that’s how youtubetv works. Unless you’re using the browser on your tv, and that would be even more insane than the rest of this conversation.
You already confessed to having an app called YouTubeTV. ESPN + is the same darn thing. You are now the proverbial horse who has been drug to the water and refuses to drink. We have tried to show you that 4 minutes of correctly applied energy can get you access* for free* to everything you’re bitching about paying for and you keep inventing excuses why you can’t. Keep living in darkness but stop complaining about it.
Yes, I watch YouTubeTV only on my TV. And all I know is that it is dependent on my Internet connection. If that's an app, so be it. Far be it from me to define what an app is. My understanding is that an app is something you download onto your device in order to access some special news show or whatever you want to watch that's not available on regular programming or wherever you are. But I could be wrong. I'll be the first to admit that I'm technologically challenged.
