Haley’s campaign argues, Trump is campaigning on “the promise of more drama in the future, rather than a forward-looking vision for the American people,” noting that while the former president was facing arraignment last week in a New York courtroom, Haley “was on the U.S.-Mexico border offering her plan for stopping illegal immigration.”
I don’t care about the stupid polls at this point. I’m really hoping she gets some momentum.

Donald Trump had a pretty good Q1, if you count being indicted as ‘good,’” according to the memo, which was first reported by Axios.

Haley’s campaign also takes aim at DeSantis, who’s widely expected to launch a White House bid later this spring, needling him for making “one misstep after another,” including describing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as a “territorial dispute.”

This is a quote from Nikki Haley's campaign manager. Waiting for similar words from Haley herself.
Nikki Haley Campaign Says Trump's Doing Good If Getting Indicted Counts As Good
In any event I don't see her taking the lead from the Dear Leader. In a crowded field in a party with winner-take-all primaries Trump is still the favorite thanks to the extremely loyal base that worships him like the leader of a cult. If anything Nikki Haley by providing another alternative will hurt Meatball Ron DeSanctimonious much more than Donald Trump.

Haley advocated some position a few weeks that I thought was politically dumb, but I can't remember what it is.

She is polling 18 percent in South Carolina, two percent behind DeSantis and only 23 percent behind Trump.

Trump really is a cancer, especially in the GOP. Haley’s comments represent one of many knives to come which will cut it out and help restore the GOP to the prominence it once had.

il still voting democrat though.

But man if they do, the libs are gonna look stupid for trotting out the old white dude.

I would be thrilled about her as the nominee.

Maybe DeSantis and Haley should flip a coin or something and go ahead and team up. The more crowded the field gets, it's only going to help Trump.

Agree. As I previously stated if she does get lucky and picks up votes it will be at the expense of DeSantis not Trump. As far as DeSantis is concerned he cannot even get solid support from Florida's Republican Congressional delegation.
DeSantis pleads with Florida Congress members to stop endorsing Trump
Said it before Meatball Ron DeSanctimonious could end up as the Scott Walker of the 2024 campaign. For those who may have forgotten Scott Walker was the incumbent governor of Wisconsin at the time and had won three elections. He was considered one of the favorites for the 2016 Republican nomination in 2015. Walker ended up dropping out before the first Republican primary in 2016.

She's a deep state RINO and nothing good would come from her nomination. She has no chance...

If she can't "rip" President Trump on his past policies and she argues the Dem's talking points. All about the phony impeachment and the phony trumped up charges in New York City, by a man (DA) that promised to go after Trump in his campaign, (should be criminally charged for that threat) then you know she is doing the RINO's and the Dem's bidding.

She is NOT going to clean out the swamp... she will embrace it.

So for clarity, Bluke - would you favor Haley over DeSantis? I will be interested in learning more about her platform. If it's legit and she supports education appropriately, I would consider voting for her over Biden or Harris. Wouldn't be opposed to crossing the aisle for a legit cause.

Why would the "libs" (I think you mean "'Dems") look stupid? I mean, I get it about Biden himself, but in no way see his nomination troublesome in relation to a female Pub nominee.

What's wrong with a man promising to go after a career criminal if the voters give him the power to do so? And they are not "phony" charges. They are Trump modus operandi.

I think Haley would be a respectable president. I am sure there will be some policy positions I won’t like but that is true with anybody. I think meatball Ron is terrible with all of his culture war bullshit.

I don’t think she has much of a shot, but if Trump implodes with multiple criminal charges, and Desantis continues to flail aimlessly I suppose anything is possible.
