Looks good. Really just need competent leadership at the top, and so far I like what I see

 

So this is a reaction to the recent mess?

Are competent professionals now in charge?

I'd like to see more than a tweet and video full of buzzwords.

 

America's substitution of nonsense hype for substance continues unabated. "Force for good, blah blah, tell that story blah blah". Good grief.

I feel like this one is basically run by the university or the UAA with them doing away with the rule in FLA about university being involved with NIL. Looks like UF is ready to get their feet wet. This had Strickland, CBN and SOS all endorsing it. I dig it.

 

The law change still doesn’t allow the University to run it, just direct players to it. It’s still not being run by Uf or the UAA. The Gator Collective was also endorsed by SS, CBN, and SOS as soon as the law change allowed them to do so.

Running it, assisting, facilitating, overseeing, what ever you want to call it. If UF is officially involved I can't imagine they would allow it to be run they way the G Collective was running it and risking them officially dragging their name through the mud without them having some major say-so in operations. Just got that feeling this one may be a bit more officially affiliated with the School. Which IMO is best bc who wants a 3rd party negotiating money between your team and your prospect. That's how you end up with shit deals like the JR fiasco

 

It’s still a 3rd party negotiating 3rd party money between the team and the prospect. The school still won’t be signing any checks or negotiating the contracts. Why do you think UF is any more “officially involved” than they were with the GC? As soon as they were allowed to, by law, they had similar press with the old collective, and even links and logos directly on the official Gator website.

I do believe they had a hand in forcing out the old regime, and likely played a bigger role in placing the top guys of this one, but it’s still a separate entity and will be run as such.

 

There were good reasons the owners of Gator Country were on top of the first NIL group early and banned their mention here. They're not against NIL . . . just that specific NIL as it existed/operated.

Can we know why the old nil org was not to be mentioned here now?
