Good question. I would be somewhat surprised if he did. As someone mentioned in another thread he seems to be wearing down. He is in such an important spot in the order and playing 1st for 2 days, then to take the mound on day 3 and try to go 5+ innings …it’s a lot. I think mid week start would be the sweet spot for him.
With this line up, on any given night, any guy can be THE GUY. And tonight it was Ty! Big big big big big at bat there. Just awesome!
Yep, and they are taking turns. Ty has been huge 3-4 times this year. Pressure and bright lights don’t scare him.
Yeah, and I know you, I, and plenty of others notice that this kid hassles no matter if it’s for one inning he is playing or the entire game
Can't beat them enough in any sport..so now we have beaten them in basketball, baseball..and coming up this fall the universe will be back in sync..beating them in football in the Swamp Satisfying Gator day..big basketball commitment and a win over the nolies..
In some ways, this type of win was better than a run-rule win because it ripped their heart out. Love it!
Great win! The Holes are in a complete nosedive to missing the postseason. Miss South Bend yet, Link? Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this win puts is only 4 wins behind the Holes in the overall head-to-head series. We already sent “Eleven” out a loser. Now we arw chipping away at that lead which right now means nothing because for the past 6 years every Hole baseball fan has faced this set of facts: the Gators have dog-piled in Omaha and we have not. Go Gators!!!!!!
Love how their graphic displays the Holes as they should always be: bowing their heads in shame. Gators have dog-piled in Omaha and you have not. Oh the shame!
Not fair, anyone can go 0-22 in Omaha, right?! Just because no one else has doesn’t mean they can’t! We also sent Warden Bowden a loser in the UF series too!
Nice video clip, but let me tell it does not capture how Loud the crowd was after he hit that. The place did go wild! Attendance listed at 7441, and it was all of that.
Just back from the game. It was like FSU was just about to enjoy a great meal and we took the food right out of their mouths. Love it. Wasn't the 8th 4 runs on 1 hit? And what a hit it was into a strong breeze. LOL. Great to see Fisher have a very solid outing. I think that Neely has answered the question about who is our closer. Halter made a fabulous play that took a replay to get correct.
Had to be there for this one. Tremendous win over FSU. This team has the "IT." Anyone who was there tonight felt it and then witnessed it. I believe we have a real shot to get to Omaha this year. The battery of Neely and Riopelle is for real, my brothers and sisters. We can and will close it down.
