    3 Florida 24-5 3
    4 Vanderbilt 23-5 4
    5 Arkansas 23-5 6

    11 Tennessee 21-8 10
    12 East Carolina 20-8 8
    13 North Carolina 20-8 13
    14 Campbell 22-4 15
    15 Florida Gulf Coast 23-5 16
    16 Oklahoma State 22-7 17
    17 Coastal Carolina 18-7 19
    18 Louisville 21-6 11
    19 Connecticut 20-6 20
    20 Miami 19-9 23
    21 Texas 20-9 21
    22 Texas Tech 20-9 22
    23 UCLA 16-8 12
    24 West Virginia 21-7 24
    25 Oregon 18-7 NR

Something tells me Campbell, Coastal Carolina or Florida Gulf Coast will be battling down the stretch for the final Regional host. With so many SE teams from 1-7 I expect the NCAA to make sure Stanford stays high so they can "claim" a Super Regional for the west coast. Lots of baseball to go but it will be interesting to see how Stanford holds up with less wins. Its about to get interesting with LSU going to South Carolina for the weekend.

7 differnt conference had a host last year I believe, including 2 from SunBelt.. Still only 3 outside of the sec/acc/b-12 geographical footprint.

Well the SEC is going to start eating their young here soon, hello Kentucky, the world is coming for you. But Vanderbilt, Florida, and South Carolina can't all be Top 6. So a change is gonna come.

    SEC Standings after Week 4

    Vanderbilt----------- 11-1 .917 26-6
    South Carolina------- 9-2 .818 28-4
    Kentucky------------- 9-3 .750 27-5
    Florida---------------- 9-3 .750 27-6
    Arkansas------------- 8-4 .667 25-6
    LSU------------------- 7-4 .636 26-5
    Tennessee------------ 5-7 .417 22-10
    Texas A&M----------- 5-7 .417 20-12
    Alabama-------------- 4-8 .333 23-10
    Missouri-------------- 4-8 .333 20-11
    Auburn--------------- 4-8 .333 19-12-1
    Mississippi State----- 3-9 .250 19-14
    Georgia--------------- 3-9 .250 18-14
    Ole Miss------------- 2-10 .167 18-13

So far their seems to be a top tier and a bottom tier developing. Wouldn't be something if Ole Miss, last year's NC, not only doesn't make the NCAA tournament but doesn't make the SECT. Doubtful but it will be interesting to watch. At the same time if Ole Miss doesn't make it then it will probably be the 2021 NC that misses out, Miss State or possibly both. Big opportunity week for Florida coming up with Georgia coming to Gainesville. South Carolina goes to Vanderbilt and Kentucky is at LSU, while Arkansas gets Tennessee at home. That why a Florida sweep this weekend, if possible, is bigger than ever.

Campbell and FGCU are still hanging in there at 14 and 15. Even if both of them don't get a regional, they should still send FGCU to Campbell to face off. Louisville's big week bumps them up to 10. I don't have much belief that Tennessee will end up as a regional host in the end, unless their big season last year still rings in the ears of the powers to be. Okie State, Texas, or T Tech will probably get a regional some how to help cut down on travel for some other teams.

    Vanderbilt 13-2 .867 29-7
    Florida 11-4 .733 30-7
    Arkansas 11-4 .733 29-7
    South Carolina 10-4 .714 30-6
    Kentucky 10-5 .667 28-7
    LSU 9-5 .643 29-6
    Texas A&M 7-8 .467 22-14

    Georgia 4-11 .267 19-17
    Ole Miss 3-12 .200 20-16

Florida finishes at South Carolina, Missouri, at Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, and at Kentucky. (45-29)
Vanderbilt finishes at Tennessee, Kentucky, at Alabama, at Florida, and Arkansas. (43-22)
Arkansas finishes at Georgia, Texas A&M, at Miss State, South Carolina, and at Vanderbilt. (39-35)
South Carolina finishes with Florida, Auburn, at Kentucky, at Arkansas, and Tennessee. (42-33)
Kentucky finishes with Texas A&M, at Vanderbilt, South Carolina, at Tennessee, and Florida. (46-28)
LSU finishes at Ole Miss, Alabama, at Auburn, Miss State, and at Georgia. It doesn't get any easier than that. (23-52)

I've been saying it, LSU finishes with the easiest schedule in the SEC. Look for them to make a big run. Before you get bent out of shape. they have already faced Texas A&M, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky. All of them are top 20 teams although some are over rated. (43-31)

Dang Florida Gulf Coast must have been found out, they gone. And 13 loss Miami jumps in all the way to 17. Its like someone knows its quite a bit cheaper on travel costs if there's two teams from Florida hosting a regional. With 4 Carolina teams ahead of them it will be tough for North Carolina to get a regional if they stay where they are at. Plenty of western teams hoping to work their way up to get in the regional host discussion. I'm sure the NCAA wants to have more than one hosting sight west of Texas.

D1 Baseball has UF's RPI at #11 as of today, SOS #40. Kentucky is #1 in RPI & SOS, South Carolina #2 in RPI, #10 in SOS, LSU #3 in RPI, #7 in SOS. Kentucky is 13-3 vs. Teams in the Top 25, UF is 6-3. We've played 15 games against teams raked out of the Top 100 and are 13-2. Miami, at 22-13, is just behind the Gators in the RPI ranking.

8 of those 13 to current top 7 in media poll(Top 10 in RPI.)

Why media polls are so silly. same team they were when dropped out for being swept by UVa last week as they are when winning series vs UNC this week.

Theyve been in that 10-15 RPI range for while now.. The 2 sweeps to elites tell me not on that level(top 10ish),,but certainly in the next 10 Id think based on resume.

Mostly favorable schedule rest of way, so dont be shocked if on that top 8 host bubble.

Special thanks to Auburn for winning the series at SC.

This coming weekend all the top 5 teams are on the road against lessor teams. LSU at Auburn might be interesting if Auburn plays like they have been. South Carolina at Kentucky is the only match up of two ranked teams. Vanderbilt is at Alabama who has not been swept at home this year. But since the top 5 are on the road you never know who will struggle.

2 weeks from now will be a very interesting weekend. Here's some of the battles setting up that will have great impact on the standings.
    (5) Vanderbilt at (4) Florida
    (15) Kentucky at (24) Tennessee
    (3) South Carolina at (7) Arkansas

Just posted this in other thread,, but the 9-12 teams all host current top 5 this week coming up. And UGa host Vols. Those 4 are the current 'bubble teams' needing wins. Top 7 all post season locks as of now, UK only one I could see miss at this point and very unlikelt w/ their RPI. Have to almost lose out

Very good point how the home teams have more to play for than the ranked teams. That can be a big motivator for any team trying to impress the committee.
