We cannot ever let Tennessee out spend us in recruiting. We have to invest more for the future of our football program.

Tennessee has always outspent us in recruiting. Because of where they’re situated geographically, they’ve always had to.

With NIL, recruiting is as National as it is regional now. So UF does need to spend more than it has in the past, but recruiting should always be more expensive for a school like Tennessee than it is for UF — we just don’t have to travel as far as they do to see the bulk of our recruits face to face.

 

In recruiting you get what you pay for.

 

I still think we need to outspend them to get the best players even in the state of Florida. Just because many of the best players are form Florida doesn't automatically make them our to lose. We actually need to out recruit that every college and university in the nation for these young men.

 

"Outspending" now means using it for NIL, not your recruiting budget. You want to move the needle it's NIL
