Wonder if Cags role changes to a mid-week starter while Neely maybe takes over on Sunday or Sully stays with him and lets him work it out.

This is a good test for Nesbitt - can he hold them down for 4 innings and let the offense get back into it.

If he can, deserves a start next weekend. That was a monster out he just got. Let’s hope he can keep us in it.

 

I think so too - If I were a GM he would get drafted as a hitter but what does Cags want?

I'd give Cags another chance. We have Georgia at home this coming weekend. If we get better weather we can see if Cags has made the corrections needed. If he doesn't make it past 3 innings again then I agree Sully should make a a Sunday starter change.

 

Let's hope it does! Take out his frustrations on the ball and have it go farther than 488 feet!

Certainly not huge yet but I’m gonna go ahead and say it

Blue’s zone a little different for UT. I get it with Cags being so all over the place but their pitcher has picked up 2 strikes this inning to two different batters that were not strikes.

 

Credit the ump for keeping a tight zone.

 

Now is the time to buckle down and fight every at bat. Cannot give any at bats away.

 

High strike to Kurland on first pitch of the AB and a strike to Luke that was at least seven or 8 inches off the plate

 

This camera angle makes a lot of these pitches look like strikes.
