I you examine the context, it appears evident that the material was published in an academic journal. See slide 83 - the title font is obviously from an academic journal. The quote that the OP cited as evidence of (who knows what) are either bits of qualitative data from other studies, or quotes from other source material.

Hey, everybody has their area of expertise. If you want to know about explicit White Supremacy theory, wouldn't a White Supremacist be one of the source materials? He isn't saying that what Spencer said is morally justifiable, just that Rufo is engaging in the same behavior with slightly more cover to make it more acceptable to the "normies" (to use language often used in political extremes).
The OP wanted a rational discussion. But the first step is determining whether the piece in question was accurate. But he seemed to want to avoid that question. I had also looked. I'm certain that mandatory diversity training would have gotten plenty of attention. I couldn't find any. There are conservative groups that focus on nothing more than what they consider liberal indoctrination on college campuses.
