    Sorry to say, it's looking more and more like a rain out tonight folks and Saturday twin bill with the second game 7 innings? Hope I'm wrong.
    In any event, let's get this series guys. In my view, this Tennesssee team is not the formidable squad of the past few years.
    This should be our year to kick butt. If we pitch like last night- no worries.

    We have Nesbitt and Slater ready to back up Waldrep when we play, which should give us an advantage against Burns with his 10+ SEC ERA.

    South Carolina with 72 to our 65 thru 30 games so after the 1st game of the series with TENN we have 68. Not sure what South Carolina did yesterday. FGCU also has 65 thru 29 games.
    We do lead the country in slugging %
    EDIT: Per Matsides post we lost ground last night as South Carolina hit 4 to our 3.

    Definitely hoping they try to get this one started. Doppler shows consistent rain for next few hours but not heavy. Hoping burns itself out later.
