So the only " fair" venue for him would be a super red, maga section of a place like Texas, Alabama, or Florida. Anyone who would dare to accuse him of any crime must be an America hating radical leftist communist, right>

Waco made him prepay prior to the rally. DT still owes millions to muni's that have hosted his rallies in the past. Good for Waco.

How Waco got Donald Trump to pay a huge bill for his MAGA rally (msn.com)

For decades, former President Donald Trump has hated paying bills, be them business or political. He especially hated the kind he felt he didn't have to pay. Notably, these include police and public safety expense invoices — now collectively worth millions of dollars — that many municipal governments fruitlessly sent his presidential campaign after Trump swept into their towns to stage mass political rallies.
    .....................................
Knowing full well they had legal leverage over Trump — Trump's requested rally venue was the city-owned Waco Regional Airport — the city manager and city attorney's office made the Trump campaign sign a binding 10-page contract eight days before his event.

"All expenses incurred by the City for public safety, sanitation and transportation personnel and resources required to preserve public order and protect public health, safety and welfare, together with any other expenses or costs that may be incurred by the City as a result of the Event shall be paid for by DJTFP24," the contract reads, using the acronym for "Donald J. Trump for President 2024".

The contract, for example, details how Trump's campaign must pay a $24,000 facility rental fee up front and agree to reimburse Waco's government — by the day of the event — for any municipal law enforcement and traffic control services provided.

The Commissioner of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) explicitly states the payments by President Trump to Stormy Daniels are not an election campaign violation.

So pathetic that a stupid Pub on a do nothing commission does not have the IQ to understand that Bragg is a STATE not Federal prosecutor, and does not even bring Federal charges to the table. A trial may uncover some Federal crimes however. Also Bragg might have some NY State campaign charges in mind, again.... not the purview of the FEC.

Is that the same Rasmussen that predicted a Romney victory in 2012 a day before the election?

By the way there is a difference between single digits and a margin of over 30 percent in multiple polls.

People are still silly enough to trust Rasmussen polls? Didn't know it was still 2012.

And these are multiple polls from 538. Other than Rasmussen even the polls that have Trump winning have him doing so by a margin of 2% or less well within the margin of error.

I’ll keep letting you think the above is a good sign, given the 3.5% unemployment rate currently.

Not enough people noticed that Trump gave away the game plan/confessed in his last Hannity interview:

"I have the right to take stuff. Do you know that they ended up paying Richard Nixon, I think, $18 million for what he had? They did the Presidential Records Act. I have the right to take stuff. I have the right to look at stuff," Trump said.

This has always been about MBS, Putin or our government cutting him a check for the most sensitive information he took with him to Palm Beach.

Whoa Stephen Miller spent 6 hours under oath yesterday try to save his bony butt by spilling the beans on Trump. I’d give my left nut to hear what all the evil minions are saying but I expect we’ll find out shortly.

I suspect Mr Smith is going to leave no doubt to DT's guilt. I also believe that whoever is in office is going to pardon him or suspend any sentence due to politics. I think the state cases are much more likely to make a difference, unless the Ga guvnr grants a pardon too

Well he’s probably not going to a super max. I’d settle for house arrest, with a greatly restricted visitor list (Mar a Lago no longer is a club), an exclusion from politics and hope his aging process is swift. After he secures the nomination of course:)
I don’t see him getting a Pardon from Biden

It keeps getting better . Agent Smith is going after Trump for wire fraud. Not a lawyer but isn’t that Racketeering? Have mixed feelings because I don’t feel bad about Trump swindling Trumpaloons.

JUST IN: Trump Special Counsel Reportedly Probing Potential Wire Fraud Related to Fundraising Off Election Lies

The report explains that Special Counsel Jack Smith is looking at potential wire fraud crimes committed by Trump and his “fundraising operation” for using false claims of election fraud to elicit donations, which would “violated wire fraud laws.” The Post notes that under federal law it is “illegal to make false representations over email to swindle people out of money.”

The subpoenas, which were issued in early March, have not previously been reported and are aimed at gathering private communications between Trump and his fundraising staff to better understand whether or not they believed the claims behind their messaging, which the Post reports “generated more than $200 million in donations from conservatives.”
